Our Team

Gabriella Bologna, OTD, OTR/ L

Gabriella joined InterPlay as a student in September 2020, and after completing her certification and
licensure, she became a full-time Occupational Therapist and member of the team in August 2021.

She graduated with her Bachelors in Exercise Science and Doctorate in Occupational Therapy from Nova Southeastern University in Tampa, Florida. She’s lived in the South Florida since birth and worked at her parents restaurant in Boca Raton, Florida until they retired. Gabriella was a nanny for 11 years in Parkland prior to Interplay. She attended North Broward Preparatory School for middle and high school participating in multiple sports, the fine arts, and coaching/directing programs for the elementary school. Over the past three years, Gabriella has been coaching the City of Boca’s cheerleading team, The Boca Braves. She has a passion for working with children, children with disabilities, and providing a fun and motivating experience in every session. She believes that it is always good to be silly and have the ability to laugh at yourself. “Anyone can achieve their goals over time; but, it’s the most important to me to make
sure the kids are having the most fun while doing so!” She can’t imagine her life without OT and she
believes she is so fortunate her job is to play!!

She is so excited to be a part of the Interplay family and to continue expanding her knowledge of
pediatric OT and become certified in Sensory Integration.

Words cannot even begin to describe how very grateful and pleased we were with Dr. Pilar Saa and her professional staff of Occupational Therapists. We had an appointment for an initial evaluation with Dr. Saa scheduled a few weeks in the future for when she returned from being out of the country, but we called her office as our 3 year-old son was in some immediate distress and she squeezed us in before she left. We have never forgotten that!! Our son was able to start his OT immediately with the most wonderful, warm, kind, compassionate therapist that we all grew to love. He actually looked forward to his appointments at the play-gym. We are happy to report that our son is thriving and doing wonderfully. We cannot thank Dr. Saa and her staff enough for being such a special part of our "village". They held our hands through every step of the way, educated us and guided us as we navigated this scary thing called "Sensory Processing Disorder". We highly recommend Dr. Pilar Saa and her staff at InterPlay!!!!
