Jane Riedl, MOT, OTR/L
Jane joined InterPlay as a student in July 2020, and after completing her certification and licensure, she became a full-time Occupational Therapist and member of the team in January 2021. She graduated Magna Cum Laude with her Bachelors in Occupational Science and Masters in Occupational Therapy at Saint Louis University in St. Louis, Missouri.
She lived in the Chicago area for 15 years and was usually surrounded by or was babysitting any of her 20 younger cousins. She attended high school in the Houston area, where she was drawn to work in a daycare and preschool because working with children had become second nature to her. While in St. Louis, she loved working as a camp counselor and volunteered for many pediatric and disability awareness groups. No matter where she is, Jane has always found a way to connect with and create fun play experiences for children. Jane is everyone’s cheerleader and has a great ability to motivate everyone in her life to be their best self, and she always makes sure to bring that energy with her when she works with her clients. She believes that by tapping into your inner child and focusing on play, you can achieve so many goals! She can’t imagine a life without being an occupational therapist and getting playtime every day.
She is so excited to be a part of the Interplay family and to continue expanding her knowledge of pediatric OT and sensory integration as it relates to participation in everyday activities!
