Helping people and animals has always been one of Farrin’s passions. Following earning a Master of Education Degree in Rehabilitation Counseling for persons with disabilities, Farrin obtained her Master of Science in Occupational Therapy at Barry University in Miami Shores, FL. Farrin went on to get additional training in handwriting, is Sensory Integration Certified, and earned a certification in Interactive Metronome. She believes that therapy is truly an interactive process involving children and their families and that play is a key component, allowing children to be open for engagement in new and challenging activities. In her free time Farrin enjoys hiking with her dogs, biking, art fairs, and attending concerts of her favorite bands.

We have been a part of the InterPlay family since our three children, who all have been diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder began receiving therapy over 3 years ago. They embraced our children right from the start and took on the challenge of meeting their varying occupational needs. Using patience, persistence and creativity, the staff helped each of our children develop (and continue to develop) the skills they desperately needed to be successful in school and in life. The staff has been wonderful not only to our children but to us, the parents as well. They have worked with us and provided flexibility with insurance issues, scheduling, and personal needs. They truly care about the progress of our children. We feel so fortunate to have found a center that provides both excellent therapy and genuine care in the service they provide to our family.
