Erin Berg CCC-SLP

E rin obtained her undergraduate degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders at Florida State University and her Masters Degree in Speech-Language Pathology at the University of South Florida. She received a grant for a Graduate Specialization for Listening and Spoken Language in Culturally Diverse children who are Deaf and Hard of Hearing with a Hearing Specialist for Early Intervention Certificate. She continued to the Palm Beach County school system where she worked with preschool to middle school-aged children with mixed diagnoses such as DHH, ASD, and receptive and expressive language disorders. Her desire to continue a more family-centered approach led her toward private practice. Erin is a mom to two small children, giving her the perspective of a parent and insight to further a family-centered approach. She is looking forward to learning from the Occupational Therapists at Interplay and furthering her knowledge of sensory integration.

Ericka C.
We have been a part of the InterPlay family since our three children, who all have been diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder began receiving therapy over 3 years ago. They embraced our children right from the start and took on the challenge of meeting their varying occupational needs. Using patience, persistence and creativity, the staff helped each of our children develop (and continue to develop) the skills they desperately needed to be successful in school and in life. The staff has been wonderful not only to our children but to us, the parents as well. They have worked with us and provided flexibility with insurance issues, scheduling, and personal needs. They truly care about the progress of our children. We feel so fortunate to have found a center that provides both excellent therapy and genuine care in the service they provide to our family.
